"This campaign is about building a Chilliwack where every child feels safe, every family has a home, & every voice has a place at the table."
- Ghazaleh Nozamani
I’m Ghazaleh Nozamani, a former software engineer turned Red Seal tradeswoman, project manager, and community activist. As a survivor of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s prison system and founder of Love Without Borders, I’ve dedicated my life to justice, equity, and building strong communities. I’m running for City Council in 2026, because I believe my city deserves leadership that puts people first, blends logic with lived experience, and never stops fighting for working families.
A stronger, safer, and more connected Chilliwack where every resident has the opportunity to thrive, every neighbourhood is valued, and our community grows together with respect, innovation, and purpose.
To serve Chilliwack with integrity by listening to residents, working collaboratively, and delivering practical solutions that strengthen our economy, improve quality of life, and prepare our city for the future.
My values are shaped by lived experience, community service, and a commitment to public service, not politics.
I will lead with:
Ghazaleh Nozamani is proving what’s possible when women lead with courage and compassion. She brings a vision of Chilliwack as a place where every child can grow up safe and supported, every family can find a home they can afford, and every person can feel connected—to each other, to opportunity, and to the land we share. This campaign is about uplifting women’s voices, strengthening community, and building a city rooted in belonging and balance with nature.
Ghazaleh Nozamani brings courage, compassion, and real-world experience to the table while leading with vision and heart. By donating or volunteering, you’re helping create a city that’s more affordable, inclusive, and sustainable for everyone. Together, we can move Chilliwack forward.
I know where Chilliwack needs to go, and I have a plan to get there.
You deserve leaders who listen, share openly, and answer to the people.
I’m ready to turn bold ideas into real progress for my community.
